Reducing the administrative burden, and producing accurate case papers in minimal time
Preparing a complete and accurate set of case papers can be one of the most time consuming parts of an investigation. Accuracy is vital as any errors could lead to significant delays in the judicial process and possibly the loss of a court case.
Clue® Counsel in conjunction with Clue® Sentinel provides a powerful case preparation tool that produces accurate and complete sets of case papers ready for court, thus reducing the administrative burden and allowing investigative staff to tackle other tasks. A set of case papers that would take months to put together by hand can be produced in just a few days. For example, one of our customers put together a case in three hours that would have otherwise have taken three weeks to complete.
The investigator enters the data into the relevant records within Clue® Sentinel, such as Witness Statements and Exhibits, and then classifies all the material in accordance with CPIA guidelines on disclosure. Upon classification, Clue® Counsel will produce the unused schedules, case summary, fully paginated witness statement bundle, witness list, dates to avoid and any sensitive material held in the case. The automatic cross-checking and ordering of Witness Statements and Exhibits ensures the production of accurate and complete case papers.
