Clue® Visitor
NOTE: Clue® Visitor is available with the Clue®2 Standard client only.
Clue® Visitor has been developed to assist Police Forces in registering and monitoring Foreign Nationals visiting the UK, as specified in the Immigration Act 1971.
Clue® Visitor supports the processes involved in recording all of the details relating to the registration of a Foreign National, for example keeping track of Police Registration Certificates (PRCs), sending out correspondence, completing Home Office Returns and printing out official forms.
All records can be searched and filtered by any term or combination of terms. The Clue®2 system is a very powerful research resource; even when searches are made across all of the data held in the system, the design of the Clue®2 server application means that search times are minimal.
Details of Individual Foreign Nationals
For each Foreign National, all of the details relating to the initial registration and on-going monitoring can be recorded. Single and multiple-entry fields are provided for recording the individual's name, nationality, birth details, UK address, occupation, family details, PRC numbers, landings and leave codes. Review dates can be set and a record of all correspondence with the individual is kept. In addition, a photograph of the Foreign National together with his or her signature can be scanned in and kept with the record.
The records can be filtered easily by any of the fields in order to produce lists and reports. For example, the records could be filtered by review dates to produce a list of all persons who are due for review within the next month. Subsequently, letters to be sent to everyone on the list can be automatically generated.
Police Registration Certificates (PCRs)
Clue® Visitor allows stations to keep tight control of PRCs. A record is kept of which PRCs are issued to which stations and which of those PRCs are then allocated to which Foreign Nationals.
All of the monies recovered from the allocation of PRCs can be recorded, ensuring proper account keeping.
Correspondence
A wide range of letters, relating to most aspects of the registration and monitoring of Foreign Nationals, can be automatically completed ready to be printed out. Both individual and batch letters can be prepared in this way.
Home Office Returns
Clue® Visitor automatically produces Home Office Daily Returns and Home Office Annual Returns.
Forms
Clue® Visitor automatically completes two types of form for you to print:
- Registration Cards
- Registration Cards contain all of the information that needs to be sent when a person's records are transferred to a different station. Transfer cards to accompany the Registration Cards are also automatically completed ready to be printed out. In addition, a transfer disc containing the individual's scanned photograph and signature can be prepared easily.
- Certificates of Registration
- Certificates of Registration are automatically completed and formatted so that they can be over-printed onto the official forms.
